About the job
Lead all electrical construction activities on a major data centre project in Sweden. This is a full-time, site-based position; the exact project location is to be confirmed. Oversee day-to-day site operations, subcontractor performance, manpower and progress. Coordinate programmes with planners, project managers, consultants and design teams. Maintain QA/QC and safety standards, review drawings and technical submittals, resolve technical and coordination issues, and manage snagging through close-out. Support cost control and variations, attend site, engineering, planning, commercial and handover meetings, and report progress to the project team.
Experience and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- 7+ years of electrical construction experience, with a focus on site management
- Experience managing electrical systems on large-scale construction projects
- Strong construction sequencing, scheduling and programme-management skills
- Sound technical knowledge of electrical installations and commissioning
- Proven subcontractor management, leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Data centre, industrial or mission-critical project experience advantageous
